  • Beschreibung: Erasmia, a young thief, and her partner in crime, Agostin, break into a rich businessman’s mansion, which they believe to be deserted, to steal a valuable painting, only to find Alexis, the businessman’s son, about to commit suicide. Erasmia talks him out of it, and he is instantly charmed by her determination and wit, and believes he has finally found a reason for living. So he tries to conquer her. He seems to be on the right track, but then his mother and a Swiss professor become involved and complicate things for him. Erasmia’s father, Vangelis, complicates things even more when he tells her that her true family was so poor that they had had to sell her when she was young so that her ten younger siblings could survive. In the end, however, love conquers all, and Alexis marries Erasmia.
